Do you work outside NYC?
Yes! We regularly work in:
- Scarsdale, NY
- Yonkers, NY

- Greenwich, CT
- and more!
We travel anywhere within 45-60 minutes of NYC using mass transit. If you are outside that range, there is a chance we may still come to your area but there will be a travel fee.
Additionally, we offer a Virtual Transformation option for people who live more than 1 hour outside of NYC. We've designed in Colorado, San Francisco, Argentina, Israel, and India! All you need is a phone, a measuring tape, and an Internet connection. Call us to discuss the details of this package.
When do you take appointments?
We work 7 days a week between 10am-7:30pm.
Do you handle renovations?
Yes! We consult on renovations. Need help picking out your tile, cabinets, flooring? We would love to guide your selections. Check out our Renovation Consultation Package. However, we don't manage the contractors or the reno work.
Do we need to have inspiration images for the designer to see?
Ideally, yes. Inspiration images help your designer best understand the look that you are hoping to achieve. Prior to your plan, we will ask you to fill out a brief questionnaire that will give us a better idea of your likes/dislikes and have a section for you to insert 1-4 inspiration images.
What if our furniture is not in the space?
Take pictures and measurements of the items you would like to bring with you and have them available at the home visit to show the designer.
No need to send the pics/measurements in advance. Just be sure to have them with you at the time of the visit so the designer can consider them in the space.
Where do you source the furnishings?
We source from hundreds of different vendors, depending on your budget and style preferences. We only use items that can be purchased online.
Most of the items are also offered in retail stores so you can go sit on/jump on/experience the pieces (i.e. Room and Board, Ikea, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, Target, Anthropologie, Macy's, Arhaus, and many more!)
Certain pieces, however, are only available online (i.e. Overstock, Wayfair, VivaTerra, RugsDirect, AllModern, BurkeDecor, etc.)
When we source from online-only vendors, we try to use sites that have free/low-cost shipping and free returns. We do not mark up any furnishings that we recommend for you.
We do not recommend things that cannot be found online (i.e. things from small boutiques, thrift stores, or auction houses) as we cannot guarantee that the items will still be in stock when you are ready to buy.
We do not usually use flash sale sites (i.e. One Kings Lane, Joss and Main, Fab.com) because their items sell out quickly and they do not have flexible return policies.
Do you provide a drawn floor plan?
A computer-drawn floor plan is not included in the plans. The designer would be happy to hand-draw one for you during the home visit. Just ask her when she is there.
If you would like a computer-drawn plan, we are happy to do so for $100 for each room. Just let your designer know when she is there so that she can take the appropriate measurements.
Do you manage custom projects (i.e. built-ins, window treatments, etc.)?
Because custom items are typically quite expensive and take a long time, we don't handle anything custom. We are happy to give you our advice regarding your custom project.
We can discuss with you the pros/cons of built-ins, choose from fabric samples for your window treatments, or even suggest a direction for your cabinetry/tile. But we don't measure for sizing or manage the project.
