Happy New Year, design lovers!

Thanks for making 2014 a great year for Affordable Interior Design. It was filled with new adventures, risks, and rewards. We hired a new designer (the wonderful Antoinette) and a fabulous handyman (Neil). We wrote a book that will hopefully be on shelves in the next week. We were on the TODAY Show. We were on a commercial with one of our mentors Marcus Lemonis. We had a holiday party that was so very fun and memorable.

There were some lows, too. We lost our blog of 6+ years. The book was misprinted, reprinted, stuck on a ship; it was a nightmare of a ride that will hopefully be resolved soon. We tried some new things and some of them weren’t successes. Being a small business in a big city can be difficult.  In a lot of ways, this year was a challenge.  But that’s what happens when you are growing.

And we are growing. Lots is in the works for 2015. I am so excited for this new year of new opportunities. Thank you for coming along with us, supporting us, and cheering us on.
